ISWAP Attacks Multiple Locations In Borno

Insurgents around 11:00 am began a daring attack in Goni Usmanti village in Nganzai Local Government Area, in Borno State. The village shares boundary with Gubio Local Government Area, where over 90 villagers were killed earlier in the week by the insurgents.

Similarly, Monguno town, one of the most strategic garrison towns, housing humanitarian operations and internally displaced persons in Northern Borno is currently under attack from multiple fronts by the insurgents.

Eyewitnesses said the Nigerian military surface and air forces have responded to the attacks.
