COVID-19: Army To Hold Low-Key POP For 79 RRI Without Their Families In Zaria

The Nigeria Army Depot, Zaria did not invite the families of the passing out recruits for the passing out parade (POP) of 79 Regular Recruit Intake (79 RRI) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Depot Nigeria Army, Capt. Audu Arigu, in Zaria of Kaduna State.

Capt. Arigu said the event was scheduled to hold on low-key without inviting family members due to the COVID-19 pandemic protocol.

The POP, according to Arigu, is scheduled to take place at the Depot Nigerian Army and would have Chief of Army Staff Tukur, Let-Gen. Yusuf Buratai as Special Guest of Honour.
