Zabarmari Massacre: Families Of Victims Receive Financial Aid

Families of rice farmers murdered on Saturday by Boko Haram terror group in Zabarmari village, Borno State, Northeast Nigeria on Thursday received financial assistance donated by the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).

HumAngle gathered that the families got N600,000 each, as support from the Governors’ Forum.

Kayode Fayemi, the Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum had on Tuesday led the Forum’s delegation on a condolence visit to the Babagana Zulum,Governor of Borno State, following the dastard killing of the farmers in Zabamari village.

The financial assistance donated by the Governors Forum was subsequently handed over to a State Commissioner for onward distribution to families of the victims.


On Sunday, after the burial of the victims, governor Zulum gave N200,000 to each family of the victims.

Among the farmers were migrants visiting to work on the rice field.
