Nigeria Police Force To Establish 10 Mopol Units In Katsina State

The Nigerian Police Force has announced approval by the Police High Command for the establishment of more than 10 Mobile Police Units in Katsina State.

Gambo Isa, the Police Command Spokesman in Katsina State, made the statement in Katsina while addressing the media.

He said “the command is now fully poised to chase out bandits and criminal elements out of the state”

’’You can confirm for yourself, we are presently receiving quite a number of vehicles, logistics, equipment and personnel for the task ahead, there is no more hiding place for criminals in Katsina state.”

HumAngle learnt that the command recently received some operational vehicles from the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs and some were sighted driving around the state capital on Tuesday.

Katsina State has been facing serious security challenges and early in the month saw the abduction of over 300 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara.

In June, the Nigerian Army established a Super Camp and Operation Sahel Sanity in the state.
