Kaduna: Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Shut Down After Terrorist Attack

Nuhu Bamali, a polytechnic in Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria, has suspended academic activities following a recent terrorist attack.

Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria has shut down academic activities following the abduction of eight students and some staff by terrorists.

HumAngle earlier reported that the raid from the terrorists began around midnight on Thursday, June 11, 2021, according to a staff member who spoke to journalists on Friday morning.

The attack was confirmed by Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Kaduna State’s Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.

In a circular dated June 11, 2021 and signed by Mahmud Aliyu Kwarbai, registrar of the polytechnic, students were informed that they were to vacate the school premises immediately.

The attack has created serious tension among the students and the entire community.

The circular, however, exempted students of the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), as their external exams, which will commence on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 will be conducted by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
