EFCC Arrests 2 Sets Of Brothers, 3 Others Over Internet Fraud Allegation

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan zonal office, on Wednesday arrested two brothers, Ayoola and Olusola Timilehin, and Oladayo and Tolulope Fayemi and three others suspected to be internet fraudsters.

In a release made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the agency said the suspects were arrested at their Alaka, Elebu hideout in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Southwest Nigeria.

The other suspects are Temitope Kumuyi, Babatunde Oyelakin and Olanrewaju Ibrahim

All the suspects are aged between 20 and 30, according to EFCC.

HumAngle gathered that the suspects were arrested based on intelligence linking them with opulent lifestyles without any identifiable means of livelihood.

Items recovered from them were four cars, laptops, exotic phones and a stamp bearing the identity of the bursary section of School of Medicine, Queensland University, Australia, the agency stated.

Mr Dele Oyewale, the Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded on their case.
