The victims were on their way to their various workplaces in Lagos State from Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State when the incident happened.

Sani Abubakar, the Sarkin Fulanin Maiganjin, told HumAngle that the bus involved in the accident was carrying 18 passengers including the driver.

Abubakar said only two people survived the accident.

He said two among the victims were from Danbatta city, eight from Maiganjin, two from Sansan, three from Gwarabjawa, all in Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State, Northwest Nigeria.

He added that all the victims were youths whose ages range from 20 to 30 except one.
